Letting 2009PLEASE NOTE AS FROM 1st NOVEMBER 2009 WE ARE NO LONGER LETTING CARAVANS The letting of private static caravans at Blue Dolphin Holiday Centre, Filey, is subject to certain terms and conditions as set out in our letting agreement, a full copy is listed below. Agency AgreementThe terms of the Agreement are as follows: - The agent will sub-let the caravan, at the Blue Dolphin Holiday centre, Filey, On behalf of the caravan owner(s) for the holiday season. We the agent, shall be the sole agent for the caravan listed on the agreement. The agent and the owner(s) shall agree to the following terms.
OUR RESPONSABILITYAs agents it is our part to secure as many booking as possible for the dates available for the caravan on the agreement. The prices we hope to achieve are listed on the availability page. It may be necessary to reduce these prices to stay competetive with other agents operating on the park, Havens special offers and late bookings, we will however try to avoid this as much as possible. Payments will be made at the beginning of the month following any letting, after deducting any money for cleaning and linen services (if and when required), entertainment passes for clients, 13.5% commission and any other charges, i.e services carried out by ourselves on your behalf and any gas supplied to ypur caravan from our suppliers. We shall undertake cleaning and linen service unless instructed othewise by you. The charges are as follows:- 2 Bedroom Caravans:- Bedlinen £8.00, Cleaning 10ft wide £8.00, 12ft wide £9.00 (if both cleaning and linen services are provided £2.00 off total). 3 Bedroom Caravans:- Bedlinen £9.00, cleaning 10ft wide £9.00, 12ft wide £10.00 (if both cleaning and linen services are provided £2.00 off total). This does not include exterior cleaning, although this can be aranged if required. In the event minor repairs are required, if it is possible to make a satisfactory repair between lets, we will, otherwise we will ask home services to take care of it.In the unlikely event of a major repair, we will contact you to review the situation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITYyour responsibilities are as follows:- 2 complete sets of sets of keys must be left at the Reception (not sales office) by you, for the use of site staff / customers, and a 3rd set forwarded to ourselves (or left in an envelope at reception marked for our attention) including alarm keys if alarm is fitted *All caravans MUST have insurance. (this can be arranged by us on your behalf, by yourselves or by Haven / Bourne.) *All caravans MUST have a Fully Charged Fire Extinguisher and at least 1 Smoke Alarm fitted and Working. *All caravans MUST have valid Gas & Electrical Safety Certificates. All caravans Must have a full Inventory as per list below. All caravans MUST be thoroughly cleaned and checked and made ready for the start of the season. *All Electrical Appliances Must be P.A.T. tested (repaired or replaced as necessary) ready for the start of the season. All caravans MUST have a Valid T.V. Licence (This is the responsability of the owner, its the owner that could be prosicuted for not having one). * If these conditions are not met "Haven" will not allow us or yourselves to let your Caravan.
It is advisable to leave additional items of cutlery and crockery as some breakages are unavoidable. Note! As from 1st April 1996 it has been a legal requirment that Holiday Homes for Hire with a TV must have a valid licence for the type of set used. This is the resposability of the owner(s). And from 1st April 1999, Health and Safety Regulation, Haven will not provide a reception service (hand out keys or issue club memberships) to guests staying in caravans that do not meet these standards. Haven will require evidence that your caravan meets these standards, and so will we if we are to be able to let your caravan, on your behalf.
